ABOUT
Katie Lindquist
principal, interior designer and art curator
Katie Lindquist is an interior designer and tastemaker based in Summit, New Jersey, and Charleston, South Carolina. She earned a B.A. in art history with an emphasis on interiors and a B.S. in finance from Lehigh University. Katie’s love of art and design led her to New York City, where she sharpened her eye in the fashion industry. A serendipitous role as the personal design assistant to a former Today style editor brought her back to the world of interiors, where she landed at the helm of luxury design and cultivated her flair for entertaining–all while taking seminars at The New York School of Interior Design. Mentored by these exceptional experiences, Katie founded her eponymous boutique interior design firm in 2022.
The daughter of Brits, Katie blends the wit and whimsy of the English country homes with the playful sophistication of her Manhattan training. Studying historic textile and interior finishing in Italy and Prague further honed her global perspective of art, antiques, and architecture. Her keen eye for art and antique curation inspires delightfully eclectic interiors, where effervescent color and pattern, a chic mix of modern and traditional, and a dash of nostalgia find joyful residence. Above all, Katie creates warm, livable homes where memories can be made.
After a decade living and working in Manhattan, Katie, her husband, and their three children now call Summit, New Jersey, and Charleston, South Carolina, home.

Interior
design
Katie believes a home should feel joyful, collected and entirely personal. With an eye trained by art history, fashion and years spent studying interiors around the world, she approaches design with equal parts sophistication and humor. From fearless pattern play to the thrill of a fabulous antique find, Katie delights in creating spaces that feel layered with character and warmth. Her interiors celebrate color, texture and the charm of the unexpected, blending beloved heirlooms with fresh touches that make a house feel truly lived in. These guiding beliefs shape every room she designs and reflect her conviction that beautiful homes should never feel precious, but welcoming, storied and full of life.

Katie’s renovation management services ensure that every detail of a project is thoughtfully executed from concept through completion. Acting as a trusted guide throughout the renovation process, she collaborates closely with architects, contractors and artisans to translate the design vision into reality while maintaining clarity around budget, timeline and craftsmanship. House Rules
If you really love it,
make it work.
Pattern play, all day.
More is more fun.
Timeless design is layered, joyful, storied—and unmistakably personal.
It’s interior
design, not brain
surgery. Please
enjoy yourself.
Wallpaper is your friend.
Don’t buy new what
can be fabulous found.
I’d skirt your dog,
if you’d let me.
The divine is in the details!
custom lampshades,
styled shelves, layered
antiques, rattan pillars,
mossy terracotta
with bulbs emerging…
it starts with the big stuff
but becomes a home with
the little things.
Call your
mother.
Don’t neglect
your ceiling.
